Clarence William Hein House?
I am hoping to identify a house I believe might have been my father's (Clarence William Hein) childhood home here in Portland. The house stood at NE 14th & Beech but was torn down sometime in the late 1950's to early 1960's to make way for a grocery store. The block now houses Whole Foods and several other businesses. The house would have been located roughly where the current branch of the Albina Library stands. I have a very vague childhood memory of being driven by the house but no details emerge other than a sense of two-story height. I am attaching a copy of both front and back views in hopes you might have a vehicle to share these with other Portland Volga Germans who might actually remember it. Thank you for any help you can provide.
