Church Records

All of the Lutheran and Reformed German Russian Churches in Portland founded by Volga Germans kept detailed church registers that include baptismal, confirmation, marriage, death and membership records.

Nearly all of these church books have been reproduced and translated from the German language where necessary. See the sidebar for more details on which records are available.
