Sunday School at the Second German Congregational Church
The main service each week was preceeded by Sunday School for the children of the church. The classes were taught by lay people within the church. The children gathered in the basement of the church to sing songs before the classes began. Following the classes, the children would join their parents for the service in the sanctuary.
