George Wagner Family

George was born 3 apr 1871 in Brunnental, Samara, Volga, Russia the son of Johannes Wagner and Katherine Batt.  He died 12 Jun 1935 in Portland and was buried 16 June 1935 at Rose City Cemetery.  He married Katherine Huber about 1891.  She was born 28 Sep 1870 d 30 Aug 1917 in Portland, daughter of John Huber.  Then he married his second wife, Christine M. Brehm.

George was naturalized in Ritzville, WA, where he settled before coming to Portland.  He emigrated to the United States on 20 March 1899 arriving in New York on 5 Apr 1899 aboard the S.S. Graf Waldersee.
