Norka Today
Today, Norka is known by the Russian name of Nekrasovo. Based on observations made during visits in 2001 and 2006, the village appears to support a population of less than 1,000 people.

Here is the link to a collection of photos taken by Russian hobby ethnographer on his recent trip to the old sites of the German settlements (both Bergseite and Wiesenseite) of the Volga Valley.
There are around 40 individual photo albums of the former VG settlements like Katharinenstadt, Rosenheim, Norka, Kutter, Laub, Schaefer, Brabander, Kukkus, Stahl, Dinkel, Warenburg, etc. and other points of interest, like the German Kraft Mill or the German water pump station in Friedenfeld.
