Wyoming Sausage Recipes by Rodger Weitzel

Rodger Weitzel recently published a booklet entitled "Wyoming Sausage Recipes," dedicated to his parents, John L. Weitzel (born in Norka) and Mary E. Weitzel (nee Kuxhaus). The booklet contains nearly a dozen great recipes, including one labeled "German Sausage" that was carried from Norka to the United States by Rodgers' grandfather, George Henry Weitzel. According to Rodger, the "German Sausage" recipe is exactly as the Weitzel family used it, and because he dedicated the book to his parents, he didn't reduce the proportions. Rodger says that he is prepared to give anyone who asks, a recipe for a lesser amount of sausage!
