I am searching for any information on my great grandfather Nicholas Krieger, b. August 26, 1871, Norka, Russia; d. June 23, 1953, Clay Center, Nebraska; m. March 10, 1897 - Katherine Traudt?. Information on parents/siblings/children would be appreciated. Nicholas and Katherine had three surviving children: Amon John, Raymond, and daughter?. Amon is my grandfather, b. December 16, 1903, Norka, Russia; d. August 9, 1952, Hastings, Nebraska. My mother, Marilyn Joyce(a twin), was the youngest of his 7 children -- Amon died when she was just over 2 years old. Any information or photos would be greatly appreciated and thank you so much for your time.

Alexander Traudt was born in Norka or Rjasan Town, Russia August 2, 1882 to Amelia Traudt, Amelia was the daughter of Heinrich and Margaretha (Muller) Traudt. The Traudt family lived in Norka but Amelia worked as a maid for a time in Saratov, which may have been where she met Alexander's father who was Russian. Can anyone help me find out who Alexander's father was?

I am searching for information on a great-aunt who decided to remain in Norka when the rest of the family emigrated to Portland. What I know is that her name is Catherina Wacker, born July 24, 1886 in Norka. She was married in Norka prior to 1907. Her parents were Conrad Wacker (b. July 11, 1864) and Elizabeth Pauly (b. August 19, 1863). I am hoping somebody will know who she married and what happened to her. Thanks for taking the time to search your records for my missing aunt.
