According to Germán Sack, the voices in this recording illustrate the dialect of the Santa Anita colony. This colony is comprised of Volga German descendants of the Catholic faith from several villages in Russia. There are families from both the Bergseite and Wiesenseite. The dialect of those in Santa Anita is unique amoung the Volga Germans in Argentina giving them their own identity.
